TaxSlayer, one of the nation’s largest tax solutions providers, has named Paige Walden as its new Head of People.

Walden joins TaxSlayer after leading human resources and corporate culture efforts at several companies, including time as the global HR director, MMS at Morgan Chemicals where she led all human resources efforts for her division. Prior to that role, she served as the company’s Group Head of Reward overseeing all elements of its compensation efforts.

She also led human resources work at Fibrant and DSM Chemicals North America.

B&D Industrial, one of the nation’s premier manufacturing distributors, has named Chris Morle as its Director of Field Services.

Chris worked his way from an EPG technician to a commercial service estimator before being named commercial service manager for Yancy Brothers, a construction equipment rental company based in Georgia.

In prior roles, he arranged service and maintenance for equipment and provided technical assistance to customers in the heavy construction space. He gained experience in the power systems space at Fining U.K. and Ireland as a control technician and warranty technician before being named a team leader for engine monitoring.

B&D Industrial, one of the nation’s premier manufacturing distributors, has named Mike Creech as its Senior Vice President Operations – MRO.

Prior to joining B&D Industrial, Mike served as director of operations for Syntegon, as well as head of U.S. operations for Habasit. In the past, he gained experience in management, leading technical services and yarn manufacturing in the fabrication space, along with operations and plant management.

BlueLinx, a wholesale distributor of building and industrial products, has named Mike Boretski as the General Manager of its Tampa office.

Mike joins BlueLinx after serving in several leadership positions at Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope in Tampa, including general manager and plant manager. Prior to his time at Oldcastle, he served his country in the U.S. Army as an officer.

Peach State Truck Centers, one of the premier heavy-duty truck dealers in the Southeast, has named Rhonda Gauthreaux as its new Vice President of Marketing.

Rhonda joins the Peach State Truck Centers team after a successful stint leading her own marketing consulting practice. In that role, she provided guidance and counsel for clients to drive business transformation and brand development through 360-degree marketing strategies.

Prior to her work as a consultant, she served as the chief marketing officer of Southwire, leading the company’s strategic responsibilities for social and digital marketing, as well as its brand development. She also served as the director of marketing for ADT.
