For the past 20 years, Lamb has focused on providing strategic financial leadership to major brands in the digital news and entertainment industry working with, including a recent stint as the Vice President of Finance and Division CFO of Turner Sports. There he led a team of 18 that provided key financial insights and counsel to the company’s executive team, managing annual budgets of more than $2 billion that featured prominent brands like NCAA March Madness and NBA on TNT.

Ali Frost Crown and Caliber

The Grant Partners, after collaboration with Crown & Caliber, is pleased to announce that Ali Frost has joined the executive leadership team of the growing watch brand. Frost is a seasoned and trusted marketer who will take over as Chief Marketing Officer for Crown & Caliber.

Frost has spent the past 20 years serving diverse industries that stretch from consumer packaged goods to sports and entertainment, leveraging analytics and creativity to bring brands to life. Prior to joining Crown & Caliber, she was the interim CMO for PopStroke Entertainment Group, as well as the Senior Vice President for Marketing for the Greg Norman Company. She also enjoyed leadership stints with Rally Labs, Sony, Colgate and The Weather Channel.

Will Rushing named as VP at MotoRad

The Grant Partners, after collaboration with MotoRad, is pleased to announce that Will Rushing has joined the company’s executive leadership team. A strategic and disciplined leader with a history of driving strong financial and sales performances, Rushing will serve as Vice President of Operations at the one of the leaders in the automotive industry.

Prior to joining MotoRad, Rushing was the general manager at Americold Logistics, overseeing the company’s distribution operations and logistics. He also spent 10 years in various leadership roles at McKesson, including a stint as assistant director of operations.

Rushing also spent eight years working with the U.S. Navy, working in human resources and performing essential analysis on several critical projects, including a modeling and simulation guidelines book currently in use.

Announcement Croom Jackson Spalding

The Grant Partners, after collaboration with Jackson Spalding, is pleased to announce that Todd Croom has joined the award-winning agency as its Chief Financial Officer. Croom brings decades of financial and strategic planning experience to optimize the company’s performance and growth, as well as a multi-faceted background as a consultant, executive leader and entrepreneur that has equipped him with a versatile and unique skill set.

Prior to joining Jackson Spalding, he consulted for several businesses, including building out the infrastructure and strategy for a healthcare start-up. He also served as senior director of finance for Cox Automotive’s HR operations and vice president of finance operations for Manheim. Croom also enjoyed leadership stints with Southern Company and Deloitte.

He and his wife, Jill, merged their families in 2018, moving to Decatur, and he is a devoted mentor to elementary students in Atlanta through his church and Big Brothers Big Sisters and serves as an Advisory Board member for the CFO Forum.

MCA tabs Amanda Atkins-Sperling for executive role

The Grant Partners, after collaboration with the YMCA of Metropolitan Atlanta, is pleased to announce that Amanda Atkins-Sperling has been named Vice President of Talent Management at the non-profit organization. She brings nearly 15 years of leadership experience and organizational development expertise to bear in her role.

Atkins-Sperling served as the assistant director of diversity and inclusiveness at EY before joining the team at the YMCA, leading a variety of initiatives and programs that promoted diversity, inclusiveness and belonging throughout the firm’s central region.

She also has enjoyed leadership roles at Cox Automotive, Autotrade US and Bixler Consulting Group, focusing on cultivating talent and building future leaders for the organizations.

Sandy Castor named to key leadership role with Middlesex (N.J.) County

The Grant Partners, in collaboration with the Middlesex (New Jersey) County Government, is pleased to announce that Sandy Castor has been named as Director of Business Engagement for the local government. With more than a decade of experience of experience in creating opportunities and driving results in the public and private sectors, she will help to cultivate relationships and fuel growth in the community.

Prior to joining Middlesex County, she worked as vice president of development for Baldwin Equities, promoting economic empowerment and equitable development by originating, structuring and directing various real estate projects of significance. She managed more than 530,000 total square feet of residential units and retail space during her tenure.

She also has led consulting work for various initiatives, organizations and campaigns through her practice, Castor Consulting. Caster also has worked for the office of governor of New York, the Washington, D.C. Department of Transportation and the MCJ Amelior Foundation.

Grant Partners Announces Chris Taylor

The Grant Partners, in collaboration with Batchelor & Kimball, is pleased to announce that Chris Taylor has been named Vice President of Operations & Engineering for the mechanical engineering company. Chris brings extensive experience across operations, manufacturing and quality management to this executive role, enabling him to deploy a practical approach toward generating strong financial results that also focuses on talent development and employee relationships.

Prior to joining Batchelor & Kimball, he served as the vice president of operations for National Cart Company, directing all aspects of safety, procurement, supply chain, quality control and human resources. Chris also has served as the director of operations and director of advanced engineering with Lennox International, managing a $6.3 million capital budget and a three-year strategic plan to drive growth.

Floydine Fitzgerald tabbed as Controller at Always Saturday

The Grant Partners, in collaboration with Always Saturday, is pleased to announce that Floydine Fitzgerald has been named as the company’s Controller. Floydine is an experienced and savvy financial leader, adept in financial planning, strategic analysis and maximizing organizational efficiencies and savings.

Before joining Always Saturday, she was the senior sourcing finance manager with General Electric, where she developed the technical and business process to transition the company’s Payable factoring program to an external bank which resulted in an improved balanced sheet. Floydine also spent more than eight years as a finance manager with Proctor & Gamble.

Shavone Smith named to executive role with YMCA of Metro Atlanta

The Grant Partners, in collaboration with the YMCA of Metro Atlanta, is pleased to announce that Shavone Smith has been named as the Vice President of Finance for the organization. An established and respected leader in her field, she brings more than 25 years of senior financial leadership experience to bear to aid one of the city’s largest non-profit organizations.

Prior to joining the YMCA of Metro Atlanta, Shavone led several high-profile projects for various prominent organizations, including Georgia Pacific, TD Bank USA and Synovus.

Padgett Business Services names Jeff Phillips its new CEO

The Grant Partners, in collaboration with Padgett Business Services, is pleased to announce that Jeff Phillips has been selected as the next CEO of one of North America’s largest accounting and business consulting providers. Jeff, an accomplished accounting industry leader and entrepreneur, will focus on franchisee support and growth, as well as increasing investments in new technologies and software to empower the Padgett brand.

Prior to taking the helm at Padgett, Jeff was the co-founder of Accountingfly, an innovative, web-based platform that matches accounting firms with local and remote talent. There, he oversaw the acquisition of Going Concern, one of the most-read news websites in the accounting industry, as a way to connect its large audience of younger CPA readers to remote career opportunities. His visionary approach at both Accountingfly and Going Concern led to him being named one of the Top 100 Most Influential People by Accounting Today on four different occasions.
